Abstract

This research provides a framework for the identification of integrity con-straints of spatial datacubes. To achieve this, we first propose a formal model for spatial datacubes. This model formally describes the different components of spatial datacubes, i.e., a level, a dimension, a measure, a hyper-cell, and a datacube. Based on this model, we identify and categorize different types of integrity constraints in spatial datacubes. These integrity constraints include both traditional integrity constraints (in the context of spatial datacubes) as well as cube-specific integrity constraints.
